Heathertones

HELP!!!! The Heathertones are in dire need of more voices.  Despite the fact that several people signed up to sing with us this season, only 1 person appeared.  This left us with a very small group, which in turn limits us to a small selection of arrangements that can be performed.

We sing three-part harmony, First and Second Soprano, and Alto. There is no need for special voice training, ability to read music, or the dreaded auditions. Just the love of music, and sharing that joy with many people who might otherwise not have a ray of sunlight in their life on any given day.

We would also be grateful if there is someone out there who plays piano and could fill in for Gill on occasion. If you sing, even better, but if you only want to accompany the group, it would be great!!

We meet on Friday afternoon from 12:30-2:30 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church, 5600 Old Collinsville Rd. Fairview Heights 62208. We will begin rehearsing our Christmas music Oct. 28, so you can get in on the ground floor with the rest of us. If you don't know what voice range you are, we will help you find a comfortable place.

For more information, please contact Chairman, Dell Blunck at 632-7479.  I really hope to hear from you. As the saying goes, "there is safety in numbers", so bring a friend for support. The more voices we have, the more dynamic music selections we can perform.

I'm waiting to hear from you.
