This is NOT your typical tourist day trip group! Join us on day trips to discover some of the lesser known, but far more fascinating, places in the Metro St. Louis/SW Illinois area. Barbara Johnson has hand picked some unique and delightful new places. Some you may have heard of, and some will be a lovely surprise. Most trips will taken once a month on Fridays. For October, a tour of the Soulard Market and neighborhood is in the works. This will include shopping for mums (best size and price around) and great fresh foods. There are several historic churches in the area as well as historic homes lovingly restored.
For November, we will be exploring the art treasure of the St Louis University. It is a beautiful campus with awesome sculptures and historic buildings.
