Scott OSCA Scholastic Awards Program
The Scott Officers’ Spouses’ Charitable Association is pleased to announce we have funds available for the 2010 school year. These funds will be awarded to schools that are making a difference in the educational lives of military children.
To qualify for the funds, a school/group will need to complete and submit the attached application. As part of the application process, the school/group will need to identify a project they are willing to undertake and explain how the project will benefit your students. Projects can be permanent such as the re-design of an area set aside for the mentoring/counseling/tutoring of children of deployed military members. Obviously, our intent is to reach as many military children as possible, but we also want to benefit all students.
The aim of the project is to aid you in your continued efforts to assist with the unique educational needs of our military children. Your efforts to date have been greatly appreciated and their impact far reaching. Together we hope to take another step toward educational excellence.
