Associate spouses share all the privileges of regular members except the right to hold elected office. They may, however, hold governing board positions and vote at meetings. Although OSC sponsors the Associates and budgets for their mailing costs, the Associates remain a self-sufficient organization. OSC dues are $40.00 annually for associate members. Associate members who are widows do not pay dues.

If your spouse recently retired, or has been retired and your life style has changed in such a way that you can now participate in additional activities, come on out and join the fun and adventure. Please, don't let the words "retired spouse" frighten you. Our membership includes men and women of all ages and backgrounds. The primary purpose of our group is to relax, enjoy fellowship, and share common interests.

We meet bi-monthly on the forth Wednesday of the month. Usually, two or three ladies volunteer to be hostess for the month's meeting. Typically, they organize a luncheon at a nearby restaurant and send out information concerning the event. We also use the Contact newsletter to publicize our events.

If you have further questions or would like more information on the Associate spouse group, please e-mail our Associate Spouse chairperson at associates@scottosc.com
