The Library's Adult Book Discussion Group will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 P.M. to discuss "An Inconvenient Truth: Crisis of Global Warming" by Al Gore.
Deployment "United Through Reading Program"
Is someone in your family deploying soon?
Make an appointment now to have your deploying family member stop by the Library and make a memory for your children by recording yourself reading a book to them. The DVD and book will then be sent to your child after you are deployed. Co-sponsered by the USO, there is no cost for this "United Through Reading Program". Through this program, children can remain in contact with their deployed parent. Call the Library at 256-5100 to book your recording time.
Preschool Storytime
Joint the Libraries fall session of Preschool Storytime, which begins on Sept. 9. Join us on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings at 10:30 A.M. for stories, crafts, songs and lots of fun!
