The Officers' Spouses' Club here at Scott Air Force Base is a dynamic, energetic, fun-loving group of military spouses from all branches of the military, both active duty and retired. Our monthly socials are usually on the second Wednesday of the month. They offer both socializing and entertainment.
With over 280 members during the 2010-2011 year, opportunities abound for everyone, whether you enjoy bowling, bridge, mahjong, bunko, quilting, reading, kids’ playgroup . . . just about anything you can imagine! You won't find a greater source of support and camaraderie, whether you are brand new to the military way of life, new to Scott AFB, or just new to the Officers’ Spouses’ Club.
In addition to the OSC’s social organization, we have a charitable association. Through the Scott Officers’ Spouses’ Charitable Association (OSCA), we contribute to both base and local communities. For the 2010-2011 year, the OSCA donated over $18,000 to our community. Our fundraising activities throughout the year benefit our Scholastic Awards Program, Youth Center activities, the Airman's Attic and the base library to name a few. Locally, we give to programs such as food pantries, the USO, Fisher Houses, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and many others.
